It breaks my heart to have to post this for my friend, but she and her husband say they are
at the end of their rope
with their dog. I would take her in but my husband is leery of
another dog in the house after our last foster/possible
forever dog caused over $700 in
damages to our house. Feel free to contact me via email, or Sandra at her number listed

I know I mentioned to you a while ago that we have been concerned about our ability
to
keep Leroy and have been looking to find her a new home. Leroy is such an energetic dog,
and is not conscientious
about those around her. Because of this, she has knocked our 2
year old son over several times. This has never been malicious
on her part. Rather, it's just
part of her Alpha Dog personality. While our son adores her, we cannot continue to
compromise
his safety.
I have put up fliers, and listed her with Pets In Need. We did have a couple of people
interested in
her, but when they came to meet her, she was just to hyper for them. I have
been trying to find a foster home for her
with several rescue agencies, but have not had
any luck.
Unfortunately, if we do not find a home for her in the
next few weeks, we will need to
bring her to the Humane Society (no kill) and hope that they can find someone who will
adopt her.
Leroy is up to date on all of her shots and has been spayed. She has been through
extensive obedience
training programs. She is housebroken and used to sleeping indoors
with her "pack" at night.
